Review: HANSKIN Super Plus Perfect BB Cream - No. 2

Hanksin is one of a Korean cosmetic brand that is famous for their great BB creams. Why? Because BB cream were originally created by Hanskin! In 2006, Hanskin's CEO Mr. Hyeon Suk Lee, who suffers skin problem his own, successfully develop this wonder cream for himself. Thus, the first BB cream was born! Later, BB cream became a craze in the entertainment industry. The trend soon spread to Japan, South East Asia, and to the rest of the world. You can read the full history here.

What's so special about Hanskin's BB cream is the natural ingredients used which does not irritate the skin, and not only that it is safe to use, it also improves skin problems. In addition, their BB creams has passed UV isolation and standard testing promulgated by Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA).

What I have here is the Super Plus Perfect BB Cream

Anyway, I have learnt to use Photoshop HAHAHAHAHA lol I'm so proud of myself /bricked/
Yeah the images are messy. It's a NOOB thing.

Description:
Hanskin Super Plus Perfect BB Cream is rich in various minerals such as deep ocean water and ice water, whichprovide nutrients and abundance of moisture to the skin. Birch sap can reduce infamation. This multi-functional cream not only as skin-protecting effect, but also provides excellent coverage with feather-light makeup finish result

Key features:
- Smooth texture for perfect coverage and finish
- Contains fine and even powder particles to effectively even skin tone
- Contains birch sap, deep ocean water, and glacial milk mineral water to keep skin moisturized and healty
- Prevents aging and sun damage

At first, I wasn't quite happy with the color because I thought shade number 2 was too dark for my skin tone. Well, I only tried it on the back of my hand and it was too dark. Hence, I mixed the BB cream with foundation when applying to face. In only days I was already tired enough mixing /LOL/ so I decided to use the BB cream alone.

Turns out that the result is not as disappointing as I expected. The shade seem to be brighter when blended. The problem that I have is that the product has a pale pink undertone and it made me looked quite ghostly. After a while (about 30 minutes or more, depends on the weather etc) the color seem to blend naturally on my face, giving me a bright natural finish.

The picture below is not the true color of the BB cream. The upper image is too dark while the lower one is too bright.

As you can see, the BB cream really covers the imperfection on my skin (spots) and evens my skin tone. It also cover the pores on my face, giving me a flawless look.

✔ Pros
- Excellent coverage
- Prevent acnes
- Brightens the skin tone
- Doesn't cling on dry patches
- Long lasting, about 5-7 hours
- Not drying

Cons
- Pricey. It cost KRW 37,000
- Quite hard to blend. (Tip: with you fingers, dab the product when applying on face)
- Only available in 2 shades
- Not available in some countries. It's also quite hard to find the brand on online stores.

Review: ETUDE HOUSE Dear My Blooming Lipstalk - BE104

Giving a second chance for Etude House's lip stick, I bought myself the Dear My Blooming Lipstalk in shade BE104 which is a color of brownish pink. I thought (and many people said) that the average bright pink tint color looks good on me, but that was until I found one of my Mom's old brown lipstick that she never used.

I wanted to try brownish colors, with undertones either pink or orange, or even dark beige. The color that I want was quite rare, I can't find any brands beside Etude House, Innisfree, and 3 Concept Eyes. Hence, I bought Etude House because it cost a lot cheaper than other brands.

I was disappointed by the fact that the lipstick had melt before I even use it. In other words, it melted during the shipping period to my place. It's not really a big deal since the bullet shape is still pretty and perfect, just, not as how I expected. It's barely unseen tho, just see the pic below. Well, if it's visible enough lol

Just like any other lipstick from Etude House, this one also have that pretty heart carving on the surface of the bullet.

I was glad that the color turned out to be how I expected to be; almost exactly how it was on the promotional picture, not too bright and not too dark, just the sweet brownish pink I wanted.

Behold, the available colors for the Dear My Blooming Lipstalk

✔ Pros
- Pigmented matte colors
- Lasting power up to 4 hours (i have drank)
- Doesn't made my lips dry, tho it's not moisturizing
- Available in many colors!
- Affordable price

✘ Cons
- There's a chance that it could melt
- Retail price are 3x higer than original Korean price. So I suggest to buy online

Laters, Baby

This is wrong. Seriously wrong. Why on earth am I writing a post about, this. Holy crap I hope no one reads this blog post.

This post in unfinished, I'll continue later. I don't even know what I wrote down there. So go away.

A phew days ago I was watching movie trailers on Youtube when the trailer of 50 Shades of Grey caught my attention. My friends had been talking about it in the past phew months, and I also have seen, wondering about - curious of what it is about. I knew that there's something to do with something sex-y.
And so I watched the trailer. A remix stripped down version of Beyonce's Crazy In Love, was the soundtrack and I really liked it. At the end of the trailer, Ana, blindfolded and cuffed. That must be that BDSM thing.

I read many negative comments (mostly warnings) on social sites, mostly saying that this novel/movie is a serious bad influence for women. Women should be more careful with men, don't be some kinda sex slave and bla bla bla. There are even researches about the different behavior between people who have read the book and the ones who have not. I was stunned to see how serious this is.

I Googled information about the novel. And yeah, y'all know what they said. Wikipedia itself said that this is an erotic romance novel. Whoa. Since I was very curious about the story (and I know that I would not read, or watch 50 Shades of grey) I read the full synopsis and plot.

I found this slideshow on Youtube about the whole story of the novel. It's interesting and it deserves a like.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
The slideshow focuses on the relationship, the love story between Ana and Christian. No need to worry, there's nothing erotic on the slideshow. It's pretty sweet and I can't believe I nearly shed a tear (my eyes were wet already) when I watched the end of Part 3. The slideshow really triggers me to read the whole novel. I mean, why would something this sweet have to be erotic? I wanna read too, you know!

PS: All photos of below are credited to Entertainment Weekly

The Book
I can't believe this. I downloaded a PDF file of the book. Hell anyone here could kill me if they see me reading that god damn erotic book /hides/.

Let me start with the downside. Well, I feel like I'm reading smut NC-21 fanfics of my favorite KPop OTP, where sex was so easy; anytime, anywhere, the guy have full power of how he would like to be pleased. While the girl, obliged, but somehow enjoying everything and just want more. And the main character; the guy's so perfect, drop-dead gorgeous, wealthy and rich, have that overwhelming love that any women can't walk away with, but somehow a devil. While the girl, a simple, girl next door kinda girl who has that pure innocent beauty that definitely mesmerizes men.

That downside that I mentioned above is somehow the kind of story that many people enjoyed. Including me (well except for the smutty part. I skipped all of them while reading). I really love the love relationship between Ana and Christian. Especially how Christian took good care of Ana; physically and mentally.  He'll do anything to keep her by his side.

Anyway, I love the story hand how the relationship between both characters goes. It's simple and it quite made me happy. Wait.. simple? No, it's actually complicated. Well, it's actually simple but somehow it's so complicated. Look, I don't know what I'm trying to say, LOL. Anyway, I absolutely love how EL James described Ana's point of view.

The Movie
Jamie Dornan really got that serious, deep intimidating looks and it fits with Christian Grey's. For a second I thought Robert Pattinson might go on well as Christian but I can't imagine anyone except Kristen Stewart as Ana. Well, the book were originally fanfics of the Twilight so obviously the main characters resembles Bella and Edward (and both of them are perfect for the cast). As for Dakota Johnson, she looked beautiful and I was surprised to see that she's "that freak" from 21 Street. She's fine as Anastasia Steele and I can imagine her while reading.

I am glad that Jamie Dorman and Dakota Johnson made it as the casts. I'm kinda glad that it's not Shailene Woodley or Jennifer Lawrence. I mean, both women have rolled for a character from a book and I bet they had been loved by "their" fandom, it would be just great if there's someone new. Okay I don't know what I'm saying. It's hard to expressed it lol I hope you get what I mean.

So far, this is my favorite picture:

That intimidating looks OMG. It's hard to say this but, I'm really anticipating the movie. I hope it's not porn too erotic so at least I can watch *cries*.

Crazy In Love
Remember when I mentioned about Beyonce's stripped down version of Crazy in Love? Well, I found out that Kadebostany made a cover of the song (with that stripped down version) waaay before the song you hear on the trailer. Well, yes it is Beyonce's song, but it's Kadebostany that remixed the music (and cover)  into something different. And then, back again with Beyonce singing the song with the Kadebostany's version. Isn't that wieeerrrdd??

Anyway, here's Kadebostany's cover of Beyonce's Crazy In Love. Enjoy!

COWABUNGAA!!

Woo Hooo! Yesterday I finally, finally watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I've been planning to watch TMNT and GOTG in the same day. A phew days ago I planned to watch both of them at a mall that is located not far from my place. However, yesterday I had a meeting at a mall (quite far from my place) at 4pm, so why not watch a movie in the afternoon?
I checked out the cinema's site to see the sched, aaaandddd Guardians of the Galaxy was playing in 3D! And the best part is that it's playing on 1.30pm so I would only have 30 minutes before my meeting.

Everything was planned. Left home by 11, arrived at 1, watched the movie at 1.30, explore the mall in 30 minutes, at the meeting point at 4. What a perfect time management.

It goes just the way I planned. Well not really. Yes I arrived at the cinema by 1pm, but unfortunately GOTD in 3D is not available! The normal 2D had started on 12.30 but who cares I want the 3D one! I was so disappointed. I asked why is the 3D is not available while clearly it was written as available on the site and the locket assistant only answers "yeah, it's not available, ha ha". I'll have Wolverine jumped out of no where in front of her and whispers "go fuck yourself", scratched the wall behind her and and leaves.

Nevermind, I'll watch TMNT instead tho the movie already started in 4 minutes. After all, I've been dying to watch both TMNT and GOTG.

This surprised me when I walked into the theater (or studio?). I was walking when I suddenly dropped my ticket, when I looked to my right this huge standee of the TMNT was right there. I soon take a picture since the standee looked so real from my point of view.

Nothing else to say, in conclusion, TMNT was awesome. "Unseriously serious", is what I think about the movie. It's very amusing yet gives quite the tense. All the fighting actions are also pretty cool, just the right amount too so I don't feel like a waste of time (seen movies with much awesome fighting but the story is just bullshit). Leo, Mike, Raph, and Donnie are cool and hilarious at the same time. Somehow I found the turtles attractive. Uh oh, am I crushing on turtles?? But I'm serious yo, I bet girls could find their type on each of the four different personalities of the turtles.

Here's one of my favorite part of the movie, the elevator scene!

One more thing that impressed me is that this movie is family-friendly, tho it has Megan Fox. LOL. No significant cleavage, boobies, or even a kiss scene. Can't remember about the swearings either but as far as I remember.. well I can't remember..I dunno, just ignore me. The movie also has a message of family and teamwork which I found touching :'D

The movie was quite controversial. Both positive and negative feedbacks were strong. Negative feedbacks came from the true fans of TMNT, whom said that the movie by Michael Bay is too different from the original story (the story itself and the characters's appearance) and it literally ruins the fans' childhood memory. As for the positive feedbacks.. you can just simply read what I wrote above or open the video above and read the comments.

Anyway what's with my tag "Marshmallow Popcorn" LOOLL I guess maybe next time I'll make more blog post about movies. I guess...

Okay see ya

Review: TONY MOLY Clean Dew Foam Cleanser

Yess.. Finally a review

I think now I am addicted to Korean facial cleansing foams as well (not only makeups). I usually bought cleansing foams from drugstore makeup brands that are a lot easier to find on mini markets and drugstores even though I don't feel that the product is suitable for my skin type (yea I need cleansing foams).

I have to admit that Korean cleansing foams are a little pricey compared to drugstore brands. However, the generous amount of product that may last for 4-5 months made these Korean brands ended up being a lot cheaper.

Several months ago I tried the Etude House Moistfull White Cleansing Foam. I was really satisfied with the product and it made me even wanted to try other Korean cleansing foams. Now I'm currently using the Tony Moly Clean Dew Cleanser

Let's just get to the review!

The product itself has 5 variants, which are Lemon (clean & bright), Aloe Vera (moist & soothe), Acerola (vigorous & healthy), Red Grapefruit (refreshing & elastic) and Blueberry (smooth & radiant).
Here's the complete product detail:

I was really surprised to see how huge this product is. I mean, it is almost as sized as my 39-sized foot._. For a product that cost only USD 4.00, that 180ml amount of product is super generous. My previous 150ml cleansing foam last for 3 and a half months, so I guess this one may last up to 4 months or more!

The product has an artificial blueberry scent which I think was a little too strong for me. I usually use a pea-size amount (or sometimes less) because I can't stand the blueberry scent. For me, that amount of product is enough for the whole face.

At first, I wasn't really satisfied with this product because my face became dryer which gave me more dry patches. I used a moisturizer to deal with my problem. After about 2 weeks I didn't use the moisturizer anymore (I only use it when my face felt dry) and the cleansing foam doesn't seem to make my face dehydrated. Instead, about 1-2 hours after I use the cleansing foam my face become a bit oily (barefaced). However, most of the time it still gave me a dehydrating effect.
Anyway, one thing that I really love about this product is that it did not gave me breakouts at all. I also love the fact that my face became quite brighter than before.

Pros
- Generous amount of product for a cheap price
- Does not gave me breakouts
- Product may last for 3-4 months
- Brightening effect

Cons
- Artificial blueberry scent that might be too strong
- Make the skin dry
- Does not reduce blackheads on my nose

Review: THE FACE SHOP Real Nature Mask Sheet - Aloe

A phew weeks ago I had a summer vacation with my family which caused me a horrible sunburn. I had small blisters around my cheeks and across my eyebrows. Also, the skin of my nose was so burnt that it was super flaky, plus it gave a stinging sensation every time it made contact with water.

I browsed online to see solutions to treat my sunburn and I found out that aloes were highly recommended. I kept thinking about Nature Republic's Aloe Vera Soothing Gel that I wished I had (unfortunately I don't have it lol). I mean, that product is so multipurpose that every time I had skin problems I kept thinking of that! Anyway, I soon realized that I still had my Aloe mask sheet from The Face Shop that I have a phew months ago.

Description:
A soothing & hydrating mask sheet containing aloe extract, which hydrates and soothes the skin, providing instant care to sensitive skin.

The product that I have here on the picture is the new design of the product. Some The Face Shop stores still have the old design instead of the new one. Here's how the older design looked like. If you look closely, you can see that The Face Shop still uses the same Aloe picture, lol.

Day 1 & 2
I cut the edge of the mask pack which give me a little hole. I squeezed the pack to get some of the liquid from the mask and applied it to the areas that had sunburns. I left it overnight and the next day I can see that it has reduced the blisters (more significant on day 2). I am very impressed by the result. I mean, I only used a phew drops! Fyi, I didn't applied it on my nose because it was still quite sensitive.

Day 3
I let my nose naturally healed without using any products and hopefully by the third day my nose was able to made contact with beauty products such as cleansing foams and BB creams. I finally used the whole mask sheet normally on my entire face. Since I thought I need an extra treatment, I let the mask sheet on my face for about 40 minutes.
As a result, my blisters were 90% gone! As for my nose, it was less flaky than before and obviously my nose was fully moisturized

In conclusion, my skin became so much better than before. There were significant visible changes!

I can't find a con for this product /bricked/, so I'll just write down the pros. LOL
- doesn't gave me any stinging sensation
- easy to find on any The Face Shop store
- excellent on treating sunburn
- gives significant result

My rate:  / 5

To be honest I'm too lazy to make reviews on mask sheets. There were some mask sheets that I had used and I even wrote drafts (include images) for the post, but I'm just too lazy to post it. I believe that a one time use of a mask sheet won't give significant effects, therefore, what's the point of writing a review?
However, this mask sheet here is really special and it really need a review!

starve

Two days ago I finally met my old friend, Wina! I don't know how exactly we became friends, she was Zay's tenth grade classmate, they go to the same school. However, Wina was transferred to other school far across the province due her parent's occupation.

I met Wina the first time about 3 years ago when Zay and I volunteered at her dance agency as extra dancers for an upcoming event. And soon, we became good friends because we often did our dance practice together and we also shared common interest.

This month Wina visited Jakarta, and hopefully we managed to hang out at Grand Indonesia, one of the largest mall in South East Asia. Our purpose of going there is to have a little culinary adventure.

Before I start, I want to share a mirror selfie that we managed to took! I was so surprised to see how our outfit has the same color tone

Zay - Wina - Me

Okay let's start the food-post!

Appetizer
First of all, as our appetizer, our first destination was Kkuldak, which literally means honey chicken in Korean. It was located on the 3A floor unit ED-12 at the west mall of Grand Indonesia. As a restaurant that only had snacks, Kkuldak was labeled as a meat snack cafe. The famous dish here are of course the kkuldak(s) itself, which have different variants of original, spicy, sweet and sour, and peanut karage.

We ordered 3 small sized kkuldaks which cost IDR 30.000 each. A spicy one and two original kkuldaks.

You get three tater tots and three small pieces of tteoks (Korean rice cake) that you would find underneath the honey chicken balls. The original kkuldak was very sweet, some people that think fried chicken and sweet honey does not goes along might not really like this. Since I love anything sweet, I think the original kkuldak was really tasty, though it was too sweet. As for the spicy kkuldak, the spice was given from gochujang (Korean chili paste), which also gives a nice saltiness to the sweet kkuldak.

Main Course
We have Mexican food as our main course. I was very, very, very happy because I love Mexican food! It was quite hard to find Mexican restaurants in Jakarta, and I'm glad that today we have our lunch at Sombrero, a Mexican Restaurant that is also located at the 3A floor of the west mall of Grand Indonesia.

Unfortunately all pictures that I took were blurry, so there won't be any pictures of the tasty cuisines here. pmsl. I hope Zay have some pics so maybe I can add some to this post.

Here at Sombrero we had Mexican fried rice, a sample set called Mexican Tapaz Style (consisted of a Burrito, two Chimichangas, and three Quesadilla - all in mini size), and of course, Nachos. I'm not really satisfied with the fried rice cos it's freakin' spicy (and the portions of the other menu), but overall the taste of the dishes are satisfying.

Dessert
Last but not least, the dessert..  Here we have gelatos from Ron's Laboratory which is famous for it's liquid nitrogen that is used during the making process of the gelatos.

On the left is Breakfast, plain based gelato with nutella swirl topped with crunchy cornflakes; and Jackpot, sweet potato gelato with crunchy jack fruit chips as topping. One more thing that made Ron's Laboratory different is the injection as the topping.

The price here is quite pricey. A gelato costed IDR 60.000 while an injection is IDR 8.000. So basically these cost IDR 70.000 cus I bet everyone wanted to try the injection. However, the tasty gelatos and the cozy place, as well as an attraction of "dragon breath", and the hot good-looking waitress are worth for the amount of money spent.

It was an amazing day. We went back home at 6PM because we didn't wanted to get stuck by the traffic jam. Zay and I went to a mall that is located right beside Dad's office so Dad would pick us up.

And that is the end of this post.
